Participant Conduct & Removal Policy

Practice Leadership Institute™ is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and ethically grounded learning environment for all program participants.

Participation in Institute programs requires adherence to professional standards consistent with behavioral health ethics and responsible professional conduct.

Professional Expectations

Participants are expected to:

• Engage respectfully with faculty and fellow participants
• Maintain professional communication during discussions and activities
• Participate in good faith within the scope of the program’s learning objectives
• Uphold professional ethical standards relevant to their discipline
• Respect the diversity of professional backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives within the learning community

Participants remain responsible for ensuring that any clinical examples or discussions shared during programs protect client confidentiality and comply with applicable ethical and legal standards.

Disruptive or Inappropriate Conduct

The Institute reserves the right to address behaviors that disrupt the learning environment or violate professional expectations.

Examples of conduct that may warrant intervention include, but are not limited to:

• Harassment or discriminatory behavior
• Repeated disruption of instructional activities
• Violation of confidentiality expectations within the program
• Misrepresentation of professional credentials or licensure
• Recording or distributing program materials without authorization
• Conduct that compromises the psychological safety or professional integrity of the learning environment

Removal from Program

If participant conduct is determined to be inconsistent with program expectations, the Institute may take appropriate action, which may include:

• Providing a warning or corrective guidance
• Limiting participation in certain program activities
• Removal from the program

Removal from a program may occur at the Institute’s discretion when necessary to protect the learning environment and the professional integrity of the program.

Participants who are removed from a program due to conduct concerns are not eligible for tuition refunds.

Professional Responsibility

Participation in Practice Leadership Institute™ programs does not replace professional supervision, regulatory oversight, or ethical accountability required by licensing boards or professional organizations.

Participants remain responsible for practicing within the scope of their professional licensure and applicable regulations.
