Technology & Platform Use Policy

Practice Leadership Institute™ delivers many educational programs through virtual platforms and digital learning environments. Participants are expected to use these technologies in a professional and responsible manner.

Appropriate Use of Program Platforms

Participants agree to use Institute technology platforms—including virtual meeting platforms, learning portals, and shared digital resources—solely for the purpose of participating in Institute programming.

Participants may not use Institute platforms to:

  • Promote unrelated products, services, or business ventures

  • Solicit clients or professional services from other participants

  • Engage in disruptive or inappropriate behavior within program environments

  • Share unauthorized links, files, or materials unrelated to program content

Technology Requirements

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary technology to participate in virtual programming. This may include:

  • Reliable internet access

  • Audio capability for virtual discussions

  • A device capable of accessing the program platform

Technical difficulties related to personal technology limitations may affect a participant’s ability to complete attendance requirements.

Security and Platform Integrity

Participants should not share program access links, meeting credentials, or course materials with individuals who are not enrolled in the program.

Unauthorized sharing of access credentials may result in removal from the program.

Respectful Online Participation

Participants are expected to maintain professional conduct in virtual environments consistent with the Institute’s Participant Conduct Policy.

This includes respectful communication, appropriate use of chat or discussion tools, and maintaining a professional learning environment during virtual sessions.
